Keep your card in sight
Shield your PIN at an ATM or payment terminal. Don’t accept help from strangers or let someone take your card away.
STAY INFORMED. STAY IN CONTROL.
A little caution makes a big difference. Know what to look out for, keep your banking details private, and get help when something feels wrong.
Lost your card or noticed a transaction you don’t recognise?
Contact the bank promptly. Don’t wait for a chat response.
SIMPLE HABITS. STRONGER PROTECTION.
Whether you’re at an ATM, on your phone
or speaking to someone online.
Shield your PIN at an ATM or payment terminal. Don’t accept help from strangers or let someone take your card away.
Use a screen lock and keep your phone and banking apps updated. Never give an unexpected caller remote access to your device.
Use a strong, unique password. Keep verification codes private and sign out after using a shared device.
Confirm the recipient and payment details before transferring money. Make banking deposits into your own account, never a staff member’s personal account.
PAUSE BEFORE YOU RESPOND
Fraudsters can pretend to be a bank, a friend or a trusted business. A logo, caller name or urgent message doesn’t prove who is contacting you.
Pressure to click a link or reveal a code is a warning sign. Don’t follow the link. Check with the bank directly.
Never disclose a one-time password, even to someone who knows your name or claims to work for the bank.
Don’t send banking deposits to a staff member’s personal account. Verify payment instructions through official channels.
WHEN SOMETHING FEELS WRONG
Whether it’s a lost card, suspicious message
or an unrecognised transaction.
End the call or conversation. Don’t send more money, click further links or share any more details.
Explain what happened and ask the team about protecting the affected card or account. This page and FIT Assist cannot block cards or reverse payments.
Save the message, time and transaction reference. Ask the team how to provide evidence securely. Never include your PIN, password, OTP or CVV.
ASK QUESTIONS. KEEP SECRETS PRIVATE.
Ask general questions about banking and security. Never paste confidential details, card numbers or identity documents into chat.
FIT Assist is currently a guided assistance. It cannot investigate a transaction, access your account or take emergency action.
